
The second week of the second round offered up some evenly matched games and a perfect score for one player, congratulations to Tom Ayley!
A-Division:
The PV Legion Respect-A-Bulls hosted the Eagles Hall Straight Arrows at the Parksville Legion on Tuesday night. Starting off the match by winning all three doubles, the Straight Arrows got ahead of the home team in the first couple sets. The Respect-A-Bulls got their flights focused by the third set of singles and regained lost ground throughout the remainder of the match. Leading the wins for the Bulls, Rob Shaw and Tom Ayley both won four of their six singles and Tom added his name to the Leader Board with a 180 score. True to the adage, Tom did not win the match despite his massive points lead over Straight Arrow, Pat Spinks. Joe Fortune won three of his six matches and hit a high score of 115. Leading the wins for the Straight Arrows, Ron Keast bested four of his five opponents and had a high check out of 90, his first entry onto the Leader Board.

Playing at the Eagles Hall, the Eagles Hall X-Men welcomed the QB Legion Shooters to join them at the oche for thirty-three games of darts. Despite besting their opponents in a couple of the sets, the X-Men struggled to get to the doubles first. Leading the wins for the Men, Jim Thompson and Pony Moore each won three of their five matches with Jim hitting team high score of 140 and 100x3. Leading the wins for the Shooters, Lee Page was undefeated in his five singles matches. Lee topped the scores for the team with a 140, however, Thom Ford was most prolific high scorer, hitting scores of 134x2, 127 and 124 as well as bringing four wins to the team total.

B-Division:
Filling up the rest of the boards at the Eagles Hall, the Eagles Hall Eagle Eyes hosted the Parksville Legion Dart Legends to a fun night of darts. Beginning the match by winning two of three doubles the Eagle Eyes failed to maintain that momentum, with the Dart Legends besting them in all but of the remaining six singles sets. Leading the wins for the Eagle Eyes was a tie between Captain Harry Van Heerwaarden and John Coulter, both winning four of their five singles. Leading the wins for the Dart Legends, Dave Edwards found the double first in five of his six singles matches. Topping the scores, Legend Kevin Gillingham pinned a 125 in his match against Harry Van Heerwaarden.

Playing at the Qualicum Legion, the Short Sighted Crew welcomed the Eagles Hall Double Eagles to a hotly competitive night of darts. Taking an early lead, the home team Crew slipped a few gears mid-match, allowing the Double Eagles to catch up and match their score. The match was tied as Crew Captain Don Hunter met with Double Eagle Will Crompton at the oche. As the chalk dust settled, Don Punter pinned his double out first, winning the game and the match for the team. Leading the wins for the Crew, Peter Bisiker, lost only to Toni Crompton in six matches and topped the team scores with a 137. Leading the wins for the Double Eagles was a three way tie for Captain Toni Crompton, Colleen McNeill and Will Crompton, all bringing three wins to the team total. Alan Barry topped the scores with a 119 in his winning match against Crew member, Jeff Rhode.
