Captain Jolene Swanson surprised herself, and the rest of the team, by winning three of her five matches and doubling out the doubles game as well!

Also at the Parksville Legion, the Cascadian Bristle Bashers hosted the Qualicum Legion Bulls Hitters. Off to a great start, the Bulls Hitters won two of the three doubles matches, but didn’t get many more opportunities to double out after that, as the Bristle Bashers beat them to it twenty-six times. Starting strong and staying strong, the Arrows out-doubled the Triples 21 to 12. Ron Keast and Don McIlhargey led the wins for the Arrows, both winning all but one of their matches. High score went to Captain Shirley Ewert, who shot a 127. Paul Reimer was consistent with the tons, hitting them four times, along with a 121.

It was a meeting of the “Alphabet Teams” on Tuesday night when the Qualicum Legion B-Sharps and the Parksville Legion’s X-Men, met for 33 games of darts at the Qualicum Legion – final score – 25 to 8 for the X-Men.
